Blue Ridge Boxer Rescue is a non-profit organization focused on rescuing Boxer Dogs. Our goal is to provide a safe and loving environment for Boxer Dogs in need, to educate the community about responsible pet ownership, and to advocate for the welfare of Boxer Dogs. We are committed to finding permanent, loving homes for Boxer Dogs and ensuring their well-being. Our work is guided by compassion, empathy, and a deep love for these incredible animals.
Our current coverage area is throughout North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia. All of our rescued Boxers are in FOSTER HOMES and are not kenneled at a facility. This way, the dogs receive one on one care, as well as the love attention that only comes from being in a family environment. We learn their likes, dislikes, and temperament and can address any illnesses or behavior problems quickly. They live indoors with our own pets, as they are our very own!
Our Volunteers
We can’t do it alone! Thanks to all the many volunteers and adopters, we are making a difference in the lives of so many boxers deserving of a good life. Volunteers make up BRBR and each of us spend time fostering, transporting, fundraising, sharing, application processing and much much more. Our Boxers must live indoors, and Foster Families must oversee all outdoor activity.
